Blue Bottle Coffee Shinagawa Cafe

The staff were kind and spoke great English. As a visiting tourist who was familiar with the blue bottle franchise from the states, I found the coffee to be mostly true to it's origins. The view of the station is incredible and a great place to relax and enjoy your coffee.

Great coffee quality. Pricy but tasty snacks. Good service. But very limited number of seats. Want to have good coffee, go to Blue bottle. Want to meet somebody and chat, go to Starbucks.Dear guests. Please leave your seat when you have finished your cup of coffee.

Gibraltar is heavenly.. Great view. Sit and enjoy calmly from the top viewing the people walking under you.

One of the best blue bottle coffee cafés with a great view of all the commuters going through Shinagawa station.

The coffee wasn’t great but the service and view over Shibuya station were. A great place for a quick coffee and a spot of people watching while waiting for the train.

Coffee is very good, particularly the drip coffee. If you can also get a seat to see the rush hour in Shinagawa station from above, it’s also quite interesting.

Famous hipster third-wave cafe offers a good variety of coffees, including cold brews and single origins. I had a delicious Naranjo from Costa Rica for ¥550. Recommended!

Excellent coffee, super friendly staff, incredible view. It's a bit tricky to find, as it's above the walkway to the trains, and there's an escalator to the side behind sliding doors to bring you to the second level. Highly recommend.

This place has become like a tourism spot rather than a coffeehouse. Very crowded during weekend afternoon and the coffee definitely smells great.

there is a nice long table and free wifi, so you can get some work done here. coffee is ok.

The cold brew is strong and solid. The texture of this cake is appropriate & well organized. It is worthy to try the coffee. However, the number of seats are not so huge.

Wonderful single origin coffee

It's an experience seating here watch pple go by and sipping on my coffee drink. Drink is not bad with a smooth coffee taste. How I wish life is everyday so simple ..

It is good that you don't have to line up crazy like shinjuku branch

Let's start with the good. Best coffee I've had in Japan. The Ethiopian single origin as a long black was fantastic and had the typical blueberry fruity notes of a fresh roast has of an Ethiopian bean. Staff spoke english and was very passionate about coffee like me. Pity they don't do soy milk which was annoying but they made up with it with their coffee being top notch. The view was awesome too watching all the commuters in the morning like a human ocean

Amazing, strong coffee. The location is excellent as well, above the main corridor of Shinagawa station. Get an espresso or pour over.

First timer here and the cappuccino is amazing. Didn't taste generic like the other cafes, would definitely be getting my daily coffee from blue bottle if I was living close to one

Amazing coffee with awesome views . Happily you can choose between plastic and glass for cold drinks . So you can be a little bit more eco friendly and not produce extra plastic waste ;) they are young and speak English

My daughter and I were just told that we can’t sit in their store because she had a lemonade purchase from another vendor. This happened even before our order arrived. I purchased an ice coffee and a cookie for my daughter to ensure we are customers. The worker said we can go sit elsewhere??? We will never Ever support such a business model ever again and will inform ALL friends and family via Facebook/IG to not Support Blue Bottle Coffee.

This place was Designed by Jo Nagasaka, the natural grey stone on the floor and surface of working desks.A large widow with a view of the railway station takes in the light of the outside and soft light inside serve as a soft lighting.Located on the 3rd fl. in Atre shopping mall at Shinagawa train station.The full menu is serving.

Great coffee in Shinagawa station right near the Shinkansen exit. Cappuccino was ¥500 and excellent with great flavour, though service was a touch slow. Has a good view of the station concourse so you can get your people watching in as well.

I have to agree with most of the reviews I've read - the coffee is excellent. Skip Starbucks and go here. I often change from NEX to Shinkansen at Shinigawa often. I'll have to adjust the connection to ensure a stop at Blue Bottle from here on out.

Their food is delicious, great for a quick bite, coffee and take amazing pics of Shinagawa station! (dont chose plastic to be a bit more ecofriendly if you can!)

Good coffee isn't easy to find in Japan. Over the past 2 weeks the most we came across are chain store like Starbucks (which we didn't really bother with unless we were really desperate) So far I only came across 2 good cafes, Blue Bottle (Shinagawa) and in Takayama morning Market. Perfect! 👍👍👍

An usual and typical BBC. Convenient location, can watch ppl walking down the path. Seating capacity is not too big, maybe for 20 ppl max.

Great coffee even though it's franchise. One of my favorite every time I visit Tokyo.There a huge window overlooking the Shinagawa station, perfect for people-watching. Around 30+ seats and a number of standing tables, though the place is typically packed.The decor is modern hi-tech minimalist. Worth a take away or a sitdown.
